Important Maintenance Announcement

Moodlerooms is Growing

At Moodlerooms, client success through optimized Moodle hosting and reliability is a top priority. As part of our ongoing plan to deliver the best possible Moodle hosting service, we are preparing to migrate all Moodle instances to our new world-class hosting platform.

What is changing?

Moodlerooms, in partnership with Sun Microsystems, has developed a completely scalable and easily maintained Moodle hosting solution. The migration to our new server platform will bring increased speed and reliability to all instances Moodlerooms hosts. When will the change occur?

We have chosen a time that should be of little disruption to your data. The server migration will take place Saturday, August 16th between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. EDT.

How will this change affect your Moodle?

Moodlerooms is doing everything in its power to perform the migration during off-peak hours. In the unlikely event that your Moodle instance is being used at that time, you may experience some disruptions in performance. All data is being backed up offsite to ensure that this transition will be done with minimal disruption.
